NIC's and SAMUEL's Expression while playing pool. (Funny right)
HURRAY!
I managed to fit into my old 3/4 blue pants today.
I wore it for church service today.
Training was alright today just felt tired and not enough energy.
Then headed to Jing Xian's house to have my slimming course.
I lost a little weight again.
The sauna thing was really hot today quite unbearable.
After that went to Expo for church service.
All my spiritual brother who saw me said that i slimmed down alot, after not seeing me for a week.
They said i grown smaller-size.
Church service was awesome today.
I felt God's presence very strongly today.
Felt very attached to him all of a sudden.
Today's sermon was about Entering the New Year with Victory in mind, like a Warriors of Light!
It was really good, it really taught me how to start this year.
One part of the service that touched me today,was when Pastor Eugene said that " we should lean on God and God is always there with us no matter what we go through."
I found that i really needed to hear this from someone.
I always felt that i am running this stressful race alone.
I esp. needed to hear this this week because i find that i needed strength to help me to lose weight.
I felt that it is really hard for me to control my cravings and it needs this extraoardinary strength in my body to keep me going.
I didn't catch exactly every single word but the words were very comforting, I just teared.
I just felt the need to come back to God again and draw near to him again.
And realising he is with me everyday in my struggles.
My heart just aches.
Joyce prayed for me for a breakthrough in my sporting life, that i have always been struggling.
After service ended, I had some time with joyce telling her my schedule for next year and stuff.
I really thank God for her, thank God she linked me with Adelle's group today.
It was nice having such a big group of girls around my age,still trying to "fit in".
Thank you Adelle for praying for me too!
After that I went to catch up with my spiritual brothers (Nic, Joel, Sam, Dion,Dal and etc.)
They wanted to go and play pool, and since i had nothing to do i just tagged along.
Nic drove his Mazda 3, so cool right.
He drove us to Marine Parade to play pool while Dan and Gab took cab there.
Then I bought waffle up there to eat.
I don't know how to play pool so i was like there to watch them play quite cool actually.
Had a few short chat with Dalston, its been long since i talk so much to him.
We always had been very busy and there is like no time to catch up.
Thank God for this time.
I am like so thankful of this brother man.
Always so caring.
Then Joel's friend was there playing pool and they were eating Macdonald.
Apparently i couldn't resist it and my spiritual brothers kept asking me whether i want to eat.
So in the end i went down with Samuel to buy Macdonalds up to eat.
I bought Grilled chicken foldover.
Gosh after eating i like put on 1kg man.
Quite bad la. hee. really i went on the weighing scale.
Forgotten to say while i was at the pool area i met Shaun Poon he was also playing Pool with his friend. Hee.
Today was really fun, and I wanna say a BIG THANK YOU to MY BROTHERS!
You guys really made my day and I enjoy the time i be with you guys!
Even though, i didn't play but i felt that i spend quality time with you guys, you all bring memories back.
Lastly while i was on the bus on my way home, I read the bible because i had nothing to do, and i thank God that he guide me to this book of philippians.
He started me off with such a short new and meaningful book.
YES, I will run the race for God. GOD BLESS YOU!
PRAYER REQUEST FOR THIS WEEK - Extraordinary strength to keep me going and that i will endure with my losing of weight. Grow deeper in God.
